Located in beautiful southern Oregon, right on the Wild & Scenic Rogue River, Morrison’s Rogue Wilderness Adventures and Lodge has catered to many fishermen in pursuit of that silver shimmer. Since the lodge was built in 1946, many fishermen have come from all over the world so that they can face off with the steelhead that come into the Rogue River from the ocean. Steelhead are known as anadromous fish, unlike the Rainbow trout who are also born here in the Rogue, the Steelhead actually spend most of their adult life swimming in the open waters of the ocean. This makes them strong and cunning, a fun catch indeed! The fall Chinook and Coho Salmon also spend time in the Rogue River looking for a quick and easy bite to eat. Variety is the spice of life and you will surely find that on the Rogue!
