Morrisons Rogue Wilderness Adventures has been a leader in fishing trips and adventures for over 50 years.
Below is a set of hand-picked fishing packages that we think are the best the Rogue River has to offer.
We invite you to explore your options and find out what next adventure awaits.
If you are considering a trip with us we strongly encourage you to look at our Essential Eligibility Requirements double-check you are up for the adventure.
Fishing equipment is provided on all guided trips. We offer Rogue River steelhead fly patterns in our tackle shop and fishing licenses can be purchased online from the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife’s Website (https://www.dfw.state.or.us/). If you are bringing your own equipment we recommend 6/ 7/8 weight single hand rods with floating nymphing lines and sink tips. If your fishing switch and Spey rods, a 6/7 weight rod works best. With these rods, a Scandinavian floating line and standard/ poly- coated floating steelhead leaders work best. For getting the fly deeper, Skagit lines with various sink tips for different depths may also be used. The 7 weight rod is the most universal for all types of steelhead fishing.
Here at Morrisons, we pride ourselves on our ability to accommodate every angler. The needs and fishing techniques of each angler will be determined in our pre-arrival interview. Just a few questions and your fishing experience level will help us assign the best fit for your guide.
We can accommodate anglers of all abilities and desired levels of participation. It is not necessary to know how to fly fish to fish with us, in fact, we can put you in a boat with a rod in your hand. All you have to do is relax, enjoy the day, and let the guide take care of things. There is no need to know how to cast, and we’ll be happy to show you how.>
For your convenience before your trip, you can purchase fishing licenses directly from the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife’s website (https://www.dfw.state.or.us/) Morrison’s itself does not sell fishing licenses. Our guides encourage catch and release, hatchery fish can be kept.
