Stuart, a southern-Oregon native, has been guiding on the Rogue River since 2009. He specializes in two-handed fly fishing for both summer and winter steelhead. During the warmer summer months his trips focus on dry line fishing in the early and late hours of the day. As the water temperatures drop he moves to deep-swung streamers and nymph fishing.

Stuart’s positive attitude, deeply rooted love for fly fishing, and natural ability make him a pleasure to spend the day on the river with. When not on the river, you can find him in the field with his German shorthair pointer Sara, chasing horns in the woods, or volunteering with local conservation groups.
